Gotta give the Dr the test results he needs.

i dont really know about this but if the test means they can find out whats wrong with you then i think the benefits outweigh the risks.

A new study is saying that the radiation from CT scans can cause cancer, but working on an oncology unit I can tell you that CT scans are the way most people find out they have cancer--and then get started on chemo. They don`t do CT scans for no reason--they`re expensive and time consuming, so I think if my doc thinks I need a CT I would certainly trust his judgement.

The doctors have apparently been ordering too many CT scans (I think because they try to avoid malpractice suits by ordering more than enough tests), and it`s bombarding us with too much radiation, causing cancers...

Everything is bad for your health! We r exposed to radiation all day everyday!

Even your soil in your yard puts off radiation. The lights in your house, and everything else!

Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place. I have had 6 in the last 5 months. It is the tool the doctor needed to keep from opening me up again.

They are ordering too many cat scans because they can be so easily sued. Doctors wouldn`t be so prone to useless testing if we had tort reform.

When doctors are more worried about getting sued than giving the right treatment, even the tests that could help you get dangerous. We tort reform, not government care.

Stupid poll. Where is the simple "yes" option? I won`t think twice.
