There`s nothing wrong with it, who wouldn`t want the Olympics to be held in their hometown?

It`s kind of good actually for the president to get involved with things like the Olympics.

Just because HE believes they should be held there doesn`t make it the best choice possible.

Nothing wrong with it except that Chicago is not a very prestigious town. It would kinda be inapropriate to hold the olympics there but it would be awesome to have them in America again.

There are more important things happening in the US that need immediate attention. Haring off to Europe with the wife for another vacation, costing how many more million taxpayer dollars to lobby for profit for your hometown (which of course he won`t get a nice chunk of for his efforts - right) is deplorable behaviour. I wonder why he doesn`t just completely sell the dignity of the office out and start taking corporate sponsors. He could plaster corporate logos all over the presidential cavalcade, have logos sewn on his suit, hang banners from the balcony of the oval office, etc. It is like having a flashy, but talentless sports star for a president. Maybe he could dye his hair green like wazzisname and practice endzone antics everytime he finishes a speech or signs something!

Why not? Chicago is one of our greatest and most historic cities. Chicago IS America. I think it`s a great idea
